2012 Q1 is coming to a close and we want to share with you what other cleaning companies are experiencing around the country! Through a recent survey of 1000+ cleaning companies, this is what 2012 is looking like:
Q: How's Business YTD compared to Last Year This time?
A: Overall the response was very positive with numbers
like 10%+, 15%+ and a few that said 20%.
Overall every respondent was experiencing some form of growth in 2012
compared to 2011.
Q: What Marketing Medium is Driving Your Estimates YTD?
A: Many different answers though the top 4 in order are: Direct Mail, Google
& Internet leads, Social (Pinterest, Facebook, Blog), Referrals (funny, not
one respondent answered Yellow Pages, how times have changed!)
Q: What's your #1 Employee Issue YTD?
A: Difficulty
attracting new employees compared to 2011 is number one, followed by
tardiness, retention and trust.
Q: What's 1 thing different in your business in 2012 compared to 2011?
A: Revenue is the number
one answer, by far, with more estimates and less stress over the economy answered
a few times.
Q: How do you feel about your Business in 2012 compared to 2011?
A: Overwhelmingly the response is Positive and Outlook
bullish!

Sanitaire and many other individual votes
2. Canister Vacuum-

Portapower remains the top choices, though a few commented that the quality has
reduced recently and once a comparable is available they'll switch.

A: Unfortunately, no one common cleaner is prevalent.

many other names. Again, no clear leaders.
