I have been using this vacuum cleaner for 34 years. It is the best canister vac on the market. Great suction it is very powerful machine I use it for all types of bare floors and stair cases whether its wooden steps or carpet. I like the 2 piece wand you just twist it a little and it stays together I always order a floor brush with the metal neck with plastic wand stays together great. You will never find a better canister vacuum that light weight with powerful suction nowhere that compares to the sanitaire.
