Pumice Scouring Stick works July 5, 2011 : Anonymous Person from Houghton, NY United States   We bought the pumice sticks to help get the iron and calcium deposits off  the surface of our bathtub.   Because of the type of water we have, the calcium and iron deposits hane built up over the years.  We were afraid we were going to have to replace the tub.  But with the pumice sticks, a product called Zud and a lot of "elbow grease" we are slowly removing the deposits.  This is the only product we have found that helps.
