We use a backpack vacuum for light debris and chalk. In the past, so vacuums have been heavy and run hot. The Mosquito Super HEPA 6 quart is a nice, small, light-weight option. Seems to be well built and well thought out. So far, we've only found two drawbacks. First, the sound does resemble a mosquito- not a deal breaker, but annoying. Second, it doesn't seem as powerful as some of the other 6 quart options. The Mosquito doesn't seem to pick the chalk up out of the carpet as well. If you have small, light debris, this could be a great option.
